Funding

Funding

Early Years funding is for 38 weeks per year. Funding can be used at more than one setting. Funding is claimed per term and hours cannot be banked for future use. We close for 3 days of staff training; 1st Monday of each new term. If your child attends on Mondays , we will offer you alternative sessions when possible. Sessions missed due to sickness or holidays are not reimbursed.

Two year old funding

15 hrs

15 hours (5 sessions) available to children of families receiving income benefits. Call Family Information Service Hub to find out if you qualify.

Early Years Funding

15-30 hrs

Working parents of children aged 9 months plus are entitled to 15 hours (5 sessions). 

All 3 and 4 year olds are entitled to 15 hours (5 sessions).  

Working parents of children aged 3 years plus are entitled to an extra 15 hours  childcare.  Both parents need to earn a minimum   £139 per week to qualify.  Visit Childcare Choices online to apply. https://www.childcarechoices.gov.uk/


Fees

For parents of children aged 2 years not yet entitled to funding or of those aged 3 years + who wish to pay for extra sessions above their entitlement, the fee is £17.50 per session.

Breakfast session is £3 per half hour, breakfast included

Tea-time session is £3 per half, snack included


You can save 20% of fees using Tax-Free childcare.  

Up to 85% of your childcare fees can be claimed back via your family tax/universal credit.  

Fees are payable at the start of each half term (6 -8 weeks)

Please note that we do have a policy of a minimum of two mornings per week for children aged 3+.  

Holidays and sickness absence

We are a term time pre-school, open for 38 weeks per academic year (September to July).  You are not billed for staff training days (3 per year), pre-school holidays or May Day bank holiday.  Fees are still applicable during sickness and holiday absence.

Tax-Free Childcare

The Government may pay 20% of your childcare costs, up to the age of 12 years.  Visit https://www.childcarechoices.gov.uk to open a tax-free childcare account.
